Educational Opportunities include seminars, conferences and college-equivalent courses to
sharpen your skills in credit management.
NACM-East Tennessee members may attend the periodic Credit & Collection Seminar held locally,
to explore pertinent issues like credit applications, lien laws, bankruptcies and corporate
structures. Local attorney and representatives from the Sheriff's Department, Bankruptcy
Court and Attorney General's Office present the featured topics.
The All-South Conference is held annually within the Southern Region of NACM to address
relevant topics for the credit professional.
The NACM Credit Congress and Exposition are national cornerstone events and forums for
exchanging leading-edge risk management information on a broader scope. The conference hosts
several continuing education programs specifically designed for business and credit professionals.
With your NACM-East Tennessee membership, you receive the national magazine, Business Credit ten times each
year, as well as our local newsletter. Your membership automatically gives you a voice in the
laws and legislation that affect credit and collection. NACM maintains a permanent representative
in Washington, D.C. to keep you updated on changing policies that affect our industry. There is
also an Annual Legislative Conference held in the nation's capital to offer you further
opportunities to participate.
